The food we offer is made from carefully selected ingredients which are combined with a respect for both the local and the Mediterranean traditions to make dishes of the highest quality.
Restaurant Affresco
The real highlights in this fascinating and historical room are the amazing fifth-century fireplace and the seventh-century stuccos and frescoes. The ceiling has a fresco in all its glory with a symbolic depiction of the wealth, which also gives the room its name. Guests can enjoy an à la carte restaurant in these elegant surroundings, which can also host exclusive banquets and cocktail receptions, company and family celebrations and events for 30 – 40 people.
Restaurant Veranda
Get the day off to a good start in "Veranda", where you can enjoy a generous breakfast buffet (from 7 - 10.30 am) bathed in sunlight. We also serve guests with half board a four-course menu of their choice with salad buffet (from 6.30 - 10.15 pm). Themed buffets and dinner with music accompaniment also provide a little extra variety to the food on offer during the week. The Veranda has a capacity for up to 400 people.
Restaurant Fontana
The Fontana welcomes guests on its idyllic terrace, in the shade of lofty palm trees with the relaxing sound of running water from the fountain, dating back to 1815, in the background. Visitors will enjoy the warm yet refined atmosphere of this incredible location, with seasonal dishes on offer for both lunch and dinner. Restaurant Fontana is perfect for banquets, gala evenings, business lunches and dinners, weddings, cocktail receptions and events for up to 180 persons.
The Bar
Guests can relax in the pleasant yet refined atmosphere of The Bar and its lounge terrace at the historical fountain. The Bar features an extensive drinks list, including cocktails and drinks made with the freshest and finest ingredients.
Restaurant Grotto
Like our Ticino region as a whole, The Grotto is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful summer days at a relaxed pace. Enjoy the traditional local fare and crisp summer salads while surrounded by an oasis of greenery in the Belvedere, seated at stone tables under a vine-decked pergola.

We organise our banquets professionally, with careful attention and an eye for detail, from the preparation of the food and attentive service right through to the table decoration. Our cuisine offers a wide variety of individual menus for every taste, however demanding. And to help celebrate the most important day of your life, the Hotel Belvedere is delighted to offer newlyweds the first night of their stay in a romantic room overlooking the lake as a wedding present.
